My name is Jean Kourafas and I founded Basimos Internet Marketing Solutions to offer my expertise in web marketing, customer-focused web design and hands-on website management to businesses in need of a cost-effective, results-driven Internet presence.

I have been involved with the Internet community since early 1995 and have been attending leading industry conferences, such as Search Engine Strategies, Seybold Publishing and Internet World, since 1997. I've traveled internationally to numerous control networking conferences to present Internet marketing strategies, site traffic analysis and online member service programs to groups of 12 to 600 attendees.

My professional background includes training and support for financial software applications, and sales and hotel management positions in the hospitality industry on Cape Cod. More recently, I spent five years as the Internet Marketing Manager for the LonMark Interoperability Association at Echelon Corporation, a control networking technology company specializing in automation for the home, utility, building, semiconductor and transportation industries. In this position, I was responsible for all marketing and technical aspects of the website which included the creative direction, implementation and management of all online communication programs.

This combined marketing, technical and management experience has proven invaluable, as I am able to offer comprehensive Internet marketing solutions that are both logical and effective with a hands-on and customer-focused approach.
